Thanks for Volunteering.
Dear Vince,
Generosity is fundamental to the concept of volunteering. Generosity of time, knowledge, and spirit. And so it is with the end of the 2001-02 programming year that we at Junior Achievement of British Columbia, are delighted to recognize and celebrate your generosity in contributing to our success and the success of more than 24,000 students who participated in Junior Achievement programs this past year.
Volunteering is about commitment and caring. Its about helping others and working together with others who share a common goal. We are pleased that you chose to share your dedication and enthusiasm to help further JAs vision of helping todays kids grow into tomorrows success stories.
We acknowledge that finding the time to volunteer can be difficult given the increased pace of like, the significant challenges individuals face in careers, and the time and energy committed to family and other obligations. Yet volunteering is the ultimate exercise in optimism a fundamental commitment to our future and is an active form of good citizenship.
We salute you for supporting our mission and ensuring the continued success of Junior Achievement of British Columbia.
We look forward to a continuing relationship with your next school year.
Sincerely,
Michelle Scarborough
President
